If you have decided to get more active, well done! Wanting to make positive changes is the first step. You are more likely to make changes if you have a plan and we’ve included some planning resources below to support you. You can download or print off our Positive Change Plan and use it to make changes gradually. The plan follows this structure:

  • setting goals
  • creating ideas to achieve your goals
  • planning the steps you want to take
  • reviewing how you’re doing

Try to be realistic when you set your goals. It can be difficult to make changes, so if things don’t go to plan, try not to worry. It’s okay to have a rest and try again when you feel like it.
